Hi Cathi -

Yes, I was lucky to see the owls. I had a lot of help, though. Another
birder discovered the nest and spread the word. Those owlets certainly
were cute.

I can't take credit for naming the trash birds "sky rats" and "sky mice."
A nice gent on either BIRDCHAT or TWEETERS used that expression in a
post I read, and I loved it! It certainly fits the bill.
(Unfortunately, I can't remember who it was! Must be old age creeping
up.)

You and I seem to be at opposite ends of the spring temperature range.
Yikes! 100 degrees? I'd much rather be brrrrding. At least, I can
bundle up to keep warm. When the weather gets that hot (rarely) in CT, I
stay near my air conditioner.

Sorry you didn't get to see the lunar eclipse. The comet will be around
for awhile, though.

Good birding!
