Hi -

"My" mockingbird came back this morning. When I got to the bus stop at
the end of my street, he was on one of his favorite perches, an old
telephone pole now used to anchor a clothesline. He was singing his
little heart out. Unfortunately, due to the time of day (7:45 a.m.), I
could barely hear him. There was too much noise from all the traffic
(there are 2 schools at the top of the hill).

Tomorrow, I'll have to go out earlier, and hear what songs he's learned
over the winter.

Now I know it's really Spring, despite what the thermometer says!
