Hi Tweets,

Imagine my surprise when I came over a rise on the way home and met a
Swainson's hawk (light color phase) eye-to-eye. Got a great look at the
neat "hood" they wear as he teetered across an open area south of Duvall
just east of the Snoqualmie River. I've seen hundreds of these guys on the
plains, but this is my first west of Spokane. Welcome spring!
