Dear John, I'm working on an article (for Living Bird) about western
ranchers who are cooperating with bird surveys on their land. I'm
covering the whole issue of their anti-environmentalism and the root
causes of it. I'd like to include your anecdote in the story. Would
you elaborate? No need for names and concrete locations, but more
details of this encounter - what the rancher said - would give my
readers a better idea of how these families feel and why. Thanks.
