In response to Jack's trip report, concerning the swans, from the flocks of
swans we have here, I would have thought they had a good summer. For
example:in one flock of 21 birds, 9 were young and 13 were adults.
Obviously you had a larger sample, I wonder what the stats are like for the
Courtenay/Comox area where they traditionally have hundreds of swans
overwintering?
