This morning, 26th, heard my first Common Yellowthroat of the spring in the
LHG. Also, the first walk this winter/spring with out seeing any American
Wigeon. The D-c Cormorant are down to one on Phantom L., and there still was
one Common Merganser, one Canvasback, and three Western Grebe, a few Gadwall
and five Ruddy Ducks (one in breeding plumage). Total of 33 species in
1-1/2 hours.

Also, yesterday a Pileated Woodpecker visited 3-4 trees in our yard, but
didn't try any feeders this time. It did go to the bird bath and pecked at
the mist spray nozzle to check it out, but it did not take a bath as I was
hoping it would.
