I just spoke with someone who was up on Spencer yesterday with a couple
of very experienced birders. They saw the Great horned owl, and the
consensus, including several other birders who had scopes on the nest,
was the there were three, rather than two owlets in the nest. I can't
vouch for this, since I wasn't there, but I thought it might be interesting
to know of the report.
