Pam Sanguinetti, biologist for Dungeness NWR, says that three Snowy Owls
were still present on Dungeness Spit on Saturday, 3/29 (actually
Graveyard Spit, the southern extension of Dungeness Spit, a closed part
of the refuge). The high count for the winter was in late December and
January, when at least 11 were present.

She is planning another count tomorrow (4/1) and promised to relay the
info when the owls are last seen.
