Kas- I would also recommend Bharatpur Sanctuary. We visited only briefly, but
it was summer and quite hot. Monsoon was in full swing and unusually heavy
(the area had 21 inches of rain in 24 hours causing major flooding). Still,
it was a memorable experience. We found an excellent local guide (by asking
at the ticket kiosk) who showed us more than 50 lifers in less than 2 hours -
and didn't use binoculars!
