My stint as the "voice of the Bird Alert" here in Vancouver, BC has ended.
Before I return to my life as a lurker on Tweeters I wanted to say thank you
to those of you who have provided me with public and private feedback during
the last month.

Soon after I started posting RBA reports at the beginning of the month,
Michael Price sent me a very detailed message on the "right" way of doing
RBA's on the Net. You may have noticed the changes in the layout of the
messages during the first week. My quirk of adding d's to bird's names
(Brant and Wigeon) was also kindly pointed out by a couple of people.
Imagine the fun I'd have had with onomatop-what-ever-it is. ;- )

The RBA will not be posted to Tweeters in April as the next "voice of the
Bird Alert" does not have a computer. I'm next scheduled for August.
