Some interesting days camped out near Ellensburg revealed the following
highlights:
Long-billed Curlews at three sites in the Ellensburg farmlands-
Migrating Lincoln's Sparrows along the streams, as well as many Ruby-Crowned
Kinglets -
(As Andy reported) huge numbers of White-crowned Sparrows moving through
almost all the lower elevation habitats -
The first Common Poorwill of the Year for me -
Singing House Wrens in the brushy habitats-
A few Orange-crowned Warblers on the move -
Fledgling Black-billed Magpies near Ellensburg -

And snow and hail and rain and wind -
