This is Kas Dumroese with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

Ray and Betty Hoff report a BAND-TAILED PIGEON has been at their
Moscow, ID feeder yesterday and today, Apr 17 and 18. The Hoff's
live at 907 E. 7th Street, on the southeast corner of the intersection.
The bird has been using the feeder in the far southeast corner of the
yard, visible from Hayes street.

Andy Stepniewski saw 2 CLARK'S GREBES on Apr 12 where I-90
crosses Moses Lake, WA near the town of Moses Lake. WA DeLorme
69, D6. Andy also reports a single male EURASIAN WIGEON seven
miles north of Atkins Lake in Douglas Co., WA and WHITE-THROATED
SWIFTS at Hole-In-The-Ground in Whitman Co., WA. Hole-In-The-
Ground is at the northeast end of Rock Lake in northwestern Whitman
Co., just south of the Spokane Co. line. WA DeLorme 72, C4.

Spring odds and ends include a CHIPPING SPARROW in my Moscow
yard today, a NASHVILLE WARBLER at Dale Goble's in Moscow on Apr
16, a SWAINSON'S HAWK above the Pullman, WA Shopko on Apr 14
by Deb Beutler, and Jennifer Welch reports the OSPREY are back on
Lake Pend Oreille in the Idaho panhandle. And for weirdness, Marla
Schwartz reports a albinistic EUROPEAN STARLING EUROPEAN
STARLING with some dingy cohorts at the Troy-Deary Gun Club, about
halfway between Troy and Deary, ID along ID 8. Can you believe a
starling made the hotline?

Good birding!
