On a hike today with the Yakima Cascadians, we spotted, sans binoculars, a
spotted towhee, a yellow warbler, a bunch of Audubon's warblers, American
robins, juncos, Bewick's wrens, TVs, and a white-crowned sparrow. Good hike,
too. The eagles aren't nesting this year apparently because we were allowed
to cross the bridge and hike along the trail across from the Oak Creek Elk
Feeding Station. People were climbing in the basalt columns, too. Wonderful
wildflowers as well.
