In the woods behind my yard this morning I saw quite a few birds moving
through the
trees, and all I could get my glasses on turned out to be Warbling Vireos;
I identified 3 birds, but there were more. One was singing, as was a
Solitary Vireo somewhere; no warblers or other migrants.

It's interesting that all the vireos were high in bigleaf maples, well
above the height at which the Warbling usually forages. If often see
migrants in my yard, which features small trees and shrubs, but not
today. Perhaps all the productivity is up in the canopy at this season.
