Hello,

There was (and presumeably still is) a tiny breeding colony of Australian
Black Swans at the south end of Ammer See (= lake), SW of Munich, Germany.
Although outnumbered by the more populous and pugnacious Mute Swans, I
once found an adult Black Swan with a few downy young up a wooded creek
out of reach of the Mutes. That was back in the early seventies, when
I was stationed in the Army at Augsburg.
