Gene Revelas, Cindy Sprecher, and I saw White-throated Swifts at the
Selah rest area...Light speed is about right!

Also, just to brag: I got 5 lifers on the WOS field trips:

1. Clarke's Grebe (1, far away in a scope, but convincing) 2.
Long-eared Owl (near a nest, with 3 or more nestlings) 3. Ferrugineous
Hawk (3 times, once on a nest) 4. Swainson's Hawk (many, enough to
start to get a feel for the flight behavior) 5. Grasshopper Sparrow
(we were in a field where this was the dominant species...great call!)
