Hey I second that "THANK YOU" to the LaFromboise's and all their
volunteers for hosting a great conference. It was my first visit to
Kennewick and surroundings and it certainly is a great place for birding.
UV radiation was a new experience for 1997 along with all those great
sparrows.

Did any of you other "westsiders" see the swifts just north of the Selah
canyon (rest stop) ? They looked like Black Swifts but we were travelling
close to light speed so I'm looking for another opinion.
