Thought you might want to check this out/figure out if you know anyone in
that building. Hope to see you Thursday.

Ellen- I believe you are the person who sends the birder meeting
annoucements out so thought I'd touch base with you since I never seem to
have time to actually attend.

I made an exciting observation yesterday and hope others can
provide additional insights.

Yesterday around 7:20 AM while walking along the ship canal behind
EEU a great blue flew over. As I watched I noticed nesting material in
his beak. He flew into the large conifer to the right (facing the
bldg. with your back to the ship canal) of the CHDD Clinic (not sure if
that's the correct bldg. name?? It's that 3+ story brick bldg. with
windows angled to face the water}. He flew to the nest where another great
blue was sitting.

This morning I brought my binoculars (I walked by around 8:20) but
nobody appeared to be home.

Does anyone have more info on the pair (I've observed 1 great blue
near the hatchery pond for a few weeks now, but figured he was hoping to
discover a whole in the netting)? Or, know anyone with a top floor office
on the east side of that bldg. who won't might folks stopping by to
hopefully get a better view of the 2 birds??
