We just returned from two weeks in Texas with several days in Big
Bend where it rained most of the time.
Nonetheless we got several life birds and saw many species
although not large numbers of anything.

The wildflowers and cacti were blooming profusely.

One of our prizes was THE GREAT KISKADEE! which sounds like
something from a WC Fields movie.

I will have a full listing and some good birding spots down
there later by email for those interested.
