Our Pa kestrel started screeching at 4:30pm. The male "Swainson's" was
nipping a green twig out of the top of my corkscrew willow...in Pa Kestrel's
teritory. Territory,hmmm. Actually, The Swainson's have invaded the kestrel
territory. Where they are building their nest is one of the places that the
kestrels perch and hunt from. This could become a very interesting year.

"Our" kestrels: We put up a nest box in '94 and this is our fourth hatch.
The box is at 100+ ft north of our house and the "Swainson's" are building at
300 ft south of us. Both are unobstructed views from our deck!
