Those three qualities (plus flatness of field) are so important that you should
spend as much money as you can on them. In general $300 binos are better than
$150 binos and $800 binos are better than $300 binos although you get
diminishing returns the pricier you get. There is also the priviledge of paying
just for the foreign exchange rate when you get into German & Swiss glass. I
think the image stabilization devices would be helpful to someone with a real
tremor, like Parkinson's disease, but the average person should be able to hold
a 10x glass with just a little practice.
