Hi folks,

On the way home Monday, and then again tonight (5:45pm), I saw an adult W Scrub Jay picking up small twigs at the edge of a demolished building site near the corner of Harrison and Percival in West Olympia.

I'll spend a bit of time this spring to see if I can find a pair with a brood and 'confirm' nesting.

Now, if I could just get a pair nesting in *my* neighborhood (less than 1 mile away), I'd think I was back home in the Willamette Valley.....
