We, also, observed one breeding plumage female Wilson's Phalarope on
Saturday, 5/10/97, near the Dungeness Recreation Area, north of Sequim,
Washington. It was in a flooded pasture, sometimes swimming, sometimes
walking, with about 200 Least Sandpipers and Dowitchers. It's
interesting that this typically eastern WA species should be seen at two
different western WA locations on back-to-back days. What's going on?

Also, the Clallam County Migration Count went very well. We don't have
the final numbers tabulated yet. We'll report when we do.
