The road between Ellensburg and the Wenas Valley is fine; however, one of our
Birdathoners had trouble getting into the Wenas Campground (Boise-Cascade)
because of flood water over the road. So, for Sunday, I would say you'd need
high-clearance as well as 4-wheel drive to get in there, but a normal car
will do for the Umtanum/Wenas road.
