FYI: Ridgefield NWR south entrance is currently closed Monday through Friday
(but open Sat. and Sun.) due to "road maintenance". I was chased out of
there yesterday by an angry foreman. They are removing gravel from the hill
southeast of the railroad crossing. I do not recommend testing the resolve
of the "road crew".

Would anyone know how long this closing will remain?
