I agree that we musn't flame too harshly someone with good intentions.
Seems there are enough real environmental enemies out there we can vent
about. Is there really an "extreme" when it comes to protecting what
little is left of bird (and other) habitat? Haven't we spent the last 500
years being extreme in the other direction? The anti-environmentalists
always talk about "balance" which can usually be interpreted as carving up
even more of the remaining habitat so someone can make a profit. Sorry
about the sermon--sometimes I need to vent!
