By this time last year the living room picture window had taken hits by
2 hummers, a hermit thrush, and a black-throated gray warbler. I
stopped washing the window last December and, so far, haven't had a
single feathered fatality. The view isn't impaired and I'm guessing
that the patina on the glass makes it a little more obvious. I'm also
saved getting the ladder out and 45 minutes of work every couple of
weeks.
