Let's not forget that an annoying e-mail can't simply
be deleted by those of us who receive tweeters in the digest
mode. All the messages are sent in a lump and i have to scroll
through the whole message each time he sends it.
I wouldn't waste my time reading the book no matter how
curious I was. I'm not saying it's a bad book, I have no way
of knowing that without reading it, but it seems evident in
reading the ad that extreme "buzz" words or exaggeration are
a large part of the author's vocabulary. There hardly seems to
be a line in the message without the words "Rape", "massacre",
etc. Obviously the environment has taken, and continues to take,
some terrible abuse but a book that purports to be an educational
work would probably be more effective without the hysterical
tone.
