I'm no bee expert, but I seem to recall that bees have a pretty effective
hive defense without human help. :) From what I've been reading in the
pappers lately, mites are their worst enemy. Honeybees have been
decimated by an introduced mite. Someone else will have to supply the
mite species. Maybe you shouldn't advertise your hive. Some orchardist
might try to steal it!
