Kristi asked if anyone had tried subscribing to the Wildlife Ecology Digest
that David (Deeper Ecology) Doyle put out.

I tried it for a brief period (a month or 6 weeks), but did not find the
contents particularly stimulating, at least compared to the other lists I
subscribe to, such as Tweeters. There seemed to be the usual areas of
concern that are addressed by the media, arguments between hunters and
anti-hunters, questions by students hoping an expert will do their homework
for them, etc..

Maybe I didn't give it enough time or maybe I've gotten jaded.
