Hi Tweeters,
My wife and I spent last friday evening and all of saturday am there and saw
following:
Burrowing owl (1)
Short-eared owl (1)
Black-necked Stilt (2)
American Avocet (5)
Western as well as Eastern King birds
Great Egret (1)
Caspian Tern (10)
Forster's Tern (5)
Black-crowned Night Heron (15)
Red-tailed Hawk (2)
Northern Harrier. (5)

In addition we had a great view of a coyote howling at the moon.
The next day we traveled on to Sandpoint and we could not help but notice the
large number of ospreys around. The rest of our birding trip was washed out
but we did manage to see a turkey near Gifford's Ferry.

Hope you all had a good birding weekend!
We had a Green-backed Heron visit our pond in our apartment complex this
morning.
