Hi Tweets,

During my conversation with Ruth Sullivan, Sunday, she mentioned a new
birding area she thought was just great. Unfortunately I couldn't catch
the name. She said it was .7 miles off Hwy 101 on Blacklake(?) Blvd.
It's a naturally marshy area where some 20,000 plants have been added.
She said in just a month they have observed 82 species of birds there.

Perhaps someone in the Olympia area can find the name of this area and
possibly give better driving directions?

Thanks,

Dan Victor, Seattle, WA <dvictor at u.washington.edu>

ps. Ruth also mentioned seeing Solitary Sandpipers there and will be sending
me some photos for the Web.
