While monitoring Bluebird trail today up Hardy Canyon off to the right on
Newland road, box number 11 had what I believe was an Ash Throated Flycatcher
in it... The box had 5 cream colored eggs with brownish streaks... The nest
material was mostly elk or deer hair parts.... The underside of the tail
feathers matched the National Geo. Soc. field guide to a "T"... The reason
there is some question is because I had to leave before the bird returned to
nest... Plan to verify next week, as I had also left binos back at car
today..
