This is just another one of my "two cents worth."

I once saw a yound lad in Korea (1962?) who had strung several kicking
grasshoppers on a long grass stalk. He then proceded to individually pop
the grasshoppers on a hot plate (not electric) like popcorn, eating a
small part, then discarding the rest. But he wouldn't let me get close
for a better look. I was told he was afraid I might laugh at him.
