This is correct for Seattle: Saturday, December 27. Phil Mattocks is
compiler; call the Seattle Audubon office at 206-523-4483 to sign up.
Seattle's is the longest-running count in Washington, begun 1908, and
continuous within the same circle (centered at First and Yesler) since
1937. About 120 species are found in a typical year. There are fifteen
areas, more or less, with one or more parties per area. Many leaders and
participants are not Seattle residents; visitors are very welcome.
