Yes, according to Western Pond Turtle expert Dan Holland, this is a
Western Pond Turtle site. However, Red-eared sliders have been dumped
here and are reproducing. When Dan and others trapped it in 1991-93
they removed about 68 sliders. Also, map turtles, snapping turtles
and painted turtles. Typical urban pond where people like to set
their captives free without regard for how it might affect the natives.
