I observed a wedge of 13 swans on Puget Sound northwest of Seahurst County
Park, Burien WA, this afternoon, Sunday, November 2, 1997.

They were nearly out of the range of my 60x scope so bill/eye detail was
hard to discern. The eye "seemed" to be distinct from the bill, but beyond
that I could not tell whether they were Tundra or Whistling.

Are there any others who may have seen these birds and can confirm? They
were quite beautiful and very tightly bunched as they swam about .5 mile off
shore. None had the grey cast of immature or first year birds, although many
had a pinkish-brown tint around their head and upper neck.
