Did a little casual birding from Ft. Worden in Pt. Townsend this afternoon.
There were about two dozen of those Oldlong-tailed ducks near the Marine
Science Center building, all bunched together, diving and surfacing in neat
synchronization. Then walked on around Pt. Wilson to the north facing
beach, and had perhaps a greater number of Harlequins, although they were
so spread out I didn't even try to count.
