Had to go to Pullman last week. On the way out and back, hawks were
moving well; ROUGH-LEG numbers were decent Thursday am, much better
Saturday in the clearer weather. HARRIERS were also in good numbers. No
Northern Shrikes were apparent.
Tried hard to make some of the Cedar Waxwings at WSU into
Bohemians, but no luck. The Great Horned on campus was sitting atop the
tower of Thompson Hall, hooting away at dusk on Halloween for an
appropriate holiday experience.
