Funny you should mention chestnut backed chickadees:

In Ballard (across Lake Washington from Bellevue), we have always had a
healthy showing of black-capped chickadees but none of their chestnut
brethren. This weekend I saw my first chestnut guy in our yard. Maybe
your Bellevue birds have flown a bit west!

On another note, the amount of bird feed consumed in our yard PLUMMETED
last week. Lo and behold this weekend we saw a hawk (identity yet to be
determined, but we suspect sharp shinned) swoop into our yard. It's a
jungle out there.
