We too had Cattle Egrets, an even dozen about 3 miles east of the
Douglas Co line on the east shore of Banks Lake on Osborn Bay. They
were reeported to arrive early this morning and spent the day roosting
in a medium sized cottonwood tree. They were still there at dark.
While Peterson described and showed yellow feet and legs, these were
quite dark.
