My hawthorn tree is again full of beautiful berries and waiting for the
usual flock of waxwings (do I dare hope for a Bohemian in the group?) to
come along and strip it clean, as they do every fall. Nary a bird yet.
Are some of you guys holding all the waxwings captive somewhere? Has
anyone seen a flock of itinerant waxwings around, especially in the
Olympia area?
