Monday, 11/10/97, 8:06 a.m. Hello, this is Patrick Sullivan, along with
Ruth Sullivan, from Tacoma, Washington, at 253.564.7419. The BROWN BOOBY
was again seen yesterday between 1:00 and 1:30 and again between 4:00 and
4:30 pm. It was seen from Diamond Point, looking onto Protection Island
in Jefferson County. The juvenal SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was again seen
yesterday between 2:30 and 3:30 at the Three Crabs horse pond near
Dungeness in Clallam County. Thank you.

Sunday, 11/09/97, 9:29 p.m. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. Yesterday, Tim
Jensen and I birded from Lyle up to John Day Dam and back. As has become
my tradition I did not see ACORN WOODPECKER. We did have six LESSER
GOLDFINCHES on the way from Lyle to False Lake Road. We also had four
more LESSER GOLDFINCHES on the east side of Maryville, the city. We had a
MEW GULL and a COMMON TERN, both at the dam on the Oregon side. That's
about it. Good luck and good birding.

Friday, 11/07/97 4:21 p.m. Hi, this is Mary Harenda [sp?], 523.7927.
There's a very visible BARRED OWL present in Hamlin Park, in the Shoreline
area of North Seattle. That's at 15th Ave NE and NE 150th st. That's it.
