Hi bird photographers -

I'm in the market for a nice shot of a male Smith's longspur in breeding
plumage. My dissertation defense on Lapland longspurs is approaching (Dec.
2nd) and I'd like to be able to show the other longspur species. Ideally
I'd like two 35mm slides and two 4x6 prints (the prints would be for
personal use; I like to have longspur photos on my walls). I'd be happy to
pay a reasonable price and would not duplicate or sell them. The only
shot I have of a Smith's right now is one of those "hold the bird in one
hand, hold the camera in the other" pictures with only about half the
bird's head visible, so just about anything would be an improvement! I
know Dec. 2nd is pretty soon - in fact I am acutely aware of how soon it
is - so if you have a slide that you think might do the trick, please get
in touch soon!

Also, if anyone has a really super shot of a male Lapland longspur
(breeding plumage), or in general any super shots of any longspur
species, I'd love to see them.

Thanks,
Kathleen Hunt
