Hey everyone,

Just a quick trip to East Bay at the Marina, got a few goodies. I attempted
to locate the Yellow-billed Loon that was reported bye Bill Tweit (sp.)
yesterday, with no luck.
No Oldsquaws, but I had the best views I had of Black Scoters, 3 of em, 2
very bright Males and 1 female, first for me in Thurston County. Other birds
seen:

Hooded Mergansers 2 males
Bufflehead 30-40
Common Goldeneye 9 7 females or juv. 2 males
Surf Scoter 20~30
White-winged Scoter 14
Black Scoter 3
Mallards many
American Wigeon 37 no Eurasians
DC Cormorant 11
GW Gulls 21
Mew Gulls 5
Crows lots
Pileated Woodpecker ~heard~

and 1 Hermit Thrush, saw one in same spot last year, don't know if same bird,
but who knows.
