i walked through the park this late morning and saw following:
Canvasback
N. Shovelers
Common Merganser
Ruddy duck
Coot
Scaup
D C Cormorant
Buffelhead
N. Pintails
Pied-billed Grebe
Red-tailed Hawk
Green-winged Teal
N. Flicker
Am. Wigeon
Common Snipe on the shore in the mud
Great Blue Heron
Hooded Merganser
Ring-billed Duck
Gadwall
Mallard
In addition I thought I saw a red-winged blackbird hanging around the
cattails. Is this bird rather late?
On the way home we saw Steller's jay, black-capped chickadee and
golden-crowned Kinglets.
