On the 14th, at Green Lake in Seattle, a CATTLE EGRET appeared near the
Bathhouse Theater. This bird may have fled toward Ballard at about
1:45. A EURASIAN WIGEON was also at the lake. Two TUNDRA SWANS were
found at the Kent Ponds. Across 212th street, in the field on Boeing
property, were 200 'CACKLING' CANADA GEESE in among other Canadas. At
Alki in West Seattle, south of the lighthouse, were BLACK TURNSTONES,
SANDERLINGS, and SURFBIRDS.

At Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, 20 GREAT EGRETS were seen on the
13th flying toward the River Unit.

The SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was present at the pond near the Three Crabs
Restaurant in Sequim through the 11th. Also at the pond was a PECTORAL
SANDPIPER.

A YELLOW-BILLED LOON was found in Budd Inlet in Olympia on the 10th. It
was seen near red channel marker #8.

An OLDSQUAW was seen at the Kent Ponds on the 10th.
