Hello tweets -- I don't mean to stray away from the focus on birds at this
list, and rarily would do so. BUT... How could any good self respecting
birder, especially here in the PacNW not enjoy a good whale show once in
awhile with your birds? If you missed last night's airing of "The Ultimate
Guide: Whales" on the Discovery Channel, you missed one hell of a show!
Brilliantly done with some utterly outrageous footage of some familiar
friends and filmed in some familiar places and settings (for me at least).
If you did miss it (groan), not to worry; it will air again Saturday night
(Nov 22) at 8pm and midnight. Watch it or tape it, but don't miss it! Even
if whales 'aren't' your thing, ...well then, the Mercedes commercials might
be. Very cute, clever, and refreshingly original. I think I'm going to just
run out now and buy one.
