Monday, November 17, 10:07 p.m. Hi, this is Bill Tweit.
Birdwatching in eastern Washington in Douglas County on
Nov. 16th, we had an adult gray phase GYRFALCON just
south of the town of Dyer, which is at the south end of the
Central Ferry Canyon Road. And we had that over a space
of about an eight-mile area, working the area, but working
south. It may well have departed the area. Also had a few
LAPLAND LONGSPURS mixed in with HORNED LARKS
at various places in between Dyer and Waterville. And had
two LONG-EARED OWLS in a Russian Olive thicket along
8 Northeast on the west side of Jameson Lake.

Monday, November 17, 9:58 a.m. Hi, this is Ed Swan.
Linda Barnes and I saw two TRUMPETER SWANS at the
mouth of the Okanogan River yesterday and also 30 SNOW
BUNTINGS up on the Colville Plateau. My number is
206-725-5013.

Sunday, November 16, 5:55 p.m. Michael Priba 623-7798.
Today is Sunday. I had a very cursory stop at Fort Casey
State Park on Whidbey Island. I found a SNOW GOOSE
underneath the old pilings there by the ferry landing, and on
the other side of the road, just opposite the little restaurant,
there were some LINCOLN SPARROWS in with the
regular sparrow flock. Thanks. Goodbye. Good birding.
