You are not going to believe this, but the Mandarin Duck pair has returned
to our pond, this time without their male Wood Duck campanion. We have not
seen them since the middle of January 1997. This will be the third
fall-winter season that we have seen this pair. Have no idea where they
come from but they are survivors.
